The stock, cast-aluminum covers are well known to break easily, and these die-formed aluminum guards add much needed strength to shield the stock covers. 1.5mm light-weight covers fit the contours of the stock covers and attach using high-temp silicone (not included) for a sleek, non-intrusive fit.
